What does it cost to use the apps?
Let us know if you're concerned about the coverage available and we'll factor it into your recommended setup. We can arrange connectivity for your gates, and our scanning is designed to keep working through the drop-outs that are common at rural venues.
How many devices can we use?
You can scan and sell on as many devices as your event requires. Every device stays in sync, so you can run several gates at once.
What happens if we lose phone signal?
Yes. Plenty of organisers sell everything online and only need scanning at the gate. Take what you need and leave the rest.
Can we take cash at the gate?
Yes. The Box Office App handles cash and card. For card, you can use Ticketebo's integrated merchant facility or your own EFTPOS terminal.
Do we need to buy scanners or special equipment?
The earlier the better, particularly over spring and summer when show and festival season is in full swing. Get in touch as soon as your dates are confirmed and we'll hold what you need.
Can we sell merchandise as well as tickets?
Yes.
How do patrons get their ticket if they buy at the gate?
Patrons will receive their tickets by SMS or email within seconds of the sale, ready to be scanned like any other ticket.
